Smart4CPPS is an initiative created within the “Smart Manufacturing” working group of AFIL (Associazione Fabbrica Intelligente Lombardia – Lombardy Cluster for the Advanced Manufacturing). It specializes in the Cyber-Physical System (CPS), the backbone of Industry 4.0, applying it on the specificities of the Lombard manufacturing industry, renowned for its excellence in the production of components and machines.
Cavagna Group Project: Cloud-connected Smart machines and data analysis aimed at increasing performance and reduce costs.
The companies Porta Solutions S.p.A., CMS Industries S.p.A., Università degli Studi di Brescia, Cavagna Group S.p.A., TXT Spa and Quantra S.r.l. are collaborating in order to increase the performance of the production machines through a specific and punctual use of the industrial data. Their aim is to boost the data’s managerial relevance both in terms of factory integration and for the development of new business models, in order to increase value creation.
